Minimum ISO 9001:2015 certification required. IATF 16949 or equivalent preferred for critical material and process vendors. All raw material lots must carry Mill Test Certificates (MTC) traceable to the heat/batch number.
We demand a minimum of 95% OTD performance across a rolling 12-month period. Deliveries are tracked monthly. Repeated shortfalls trigger a corrective action request (CAR) and affect Approved Vendor List (AVL) status.
Vendors must furnish clear RoHS declarations, REACH/SVHC disclosures, and material composition data (CMRT/EMRT where applicable) upon request or for new item onboarding.
Each delivery must carry a clear lot/batch identifier that links directly to your internal test records and the raw heat data. Traceability to raw heat is mandatory for steel, SS, and special alloys.
We work on tight global timelines. Price revisions, delivery delays, or quality deviations must be communicated proactively—before the impact reaches GIC’s production line. 24-hour response window for critical queries.
GIC is SBTi-aligned targeting Net-Zero by 2030. We give strong preference to vendors who actively measure and reduce their Scope 1 & 2 emissions, provide GHG data on request, and avoid conflict minerals (3TG).

Our purchase and quality teams assess your credentials,
certifications, and initial pricing competitive baseline.
For approved profiles, we issue a limited trial order. First Article Inspection (FAI) reports are required with this delivery.
For critical or strategic components/processes, our QA team conducts a comprehensive process capability audit.
Upon passing performance parameters, you enter our Approved Vendor List with a classified ranking (Grade A/B/C) and sign long-term rate contracts.
